The Game of Life and How to Play It

Florence Scovel Shinn was an illustrator turned metaphysical teacher working in New York. Her first book is short, blunt, and full of anecdotes about ordinary people in difficult situations. It is one of the foundational texts of the New Thought movement, and almost everything written about manifestation in the last century is downstream of it.
